Maine Coon / Tabby / Mixed (long coat) : : Female : : Baby : : Medium
Lucky Girl came to us from Bethel with an injured front leg, most likely from a car accident. She was also very emanciated. Once in rescue, now she is eating and drinking and slowly gaining weight. Likes to talk, I imagine she has a great story to tell, only wish we could understand what she's saying. She is a maine coon mix, black tabby wtih white, very adorable and loving. Once she puts on enough weight, she needs to have her right front leg removed due to nerve damage. It sure is exhausting trying to relax and gain weight! We thought it was going to get better, but seems to be getting worse. Lucky might need a foster home during her helaing process, if anyone is interested. Otherwise she is on medical hold, probably until mid-November or December. If anyone wishes to foster or contribute for her surgery, please contact me. Update 11/15/12: Lucky girl is in a temp foster home while she heals up from her right front leg amputation being done today. We have several people interested in adopting her already. We will be contacting these folks soon. Thanks for everyones patience and for chipping in to cover her surgery costs.
Please note:
All dogs are expected to attend our next adoption event, however sometimes life gets in the way. We encourage you to attend our next event to inquire about meeting or adopting any dog listed on our site or email us to request a meeting outside of an event.
