Twiggy is a purebred 6yr old Italian Greyhound. She was turned over because she was pottying in the house and the owners didn't know how to work with her on that. Iggies are known for having housebreaking issues, and with the cold here in Alaska I can't say that I blame her for not wanting to go outside! She is doing well with potty pads though and it is a great solution to the problem. Personality wise, Twiggy is awesome! Friendly and outgoing with everyone she meets. Not a big barker either. She is crate trained, although we would prefer a home that wouldn't keep her locked up all the time. When she came to us she had big sores all over from being locked in a small crate all the time. Twiggy is great with other dogs and didn't mind the cats she has met.
Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, and microchip. If interested in this pet please email for an application or visit one of our weekly adoption clinics!
