Piper is one of a batch of puppies found living under a schoolhouse in rural Alaska. The local police officer had started to shoot the pups and their mother when a school teacher jumped in to help. She is still a little fearful of loud or fidgety people but she is coming around very well. Piper would do best in a home with another dog and older children (that aren't as loud or boistrous). She is an active dog and will be for her life.

Spay/Neuter is REQUIRED and NON-NEGOTIABLE. Please do not request we make an exception for you as it is not something we will budge on.

All dogs are expected to attend our next adoption event, however sometimes life gets in the way. We encourage you to attend our next event to inquire about meeting or adopting any dog listed on our site or email us to request a meeting outside of an event.
